Long Term Ohio River Water Quality Trends

Project Summary

This project analyzes a long term water quality data set for the Ohio River Basin. Six stations in the Upper Ohio basin are examined for trends and changes in concentration and flux over a 30 to 40 year period. Analysis includes general chemistry parameters pH, Hardness and Alkalinity, Specific Conductance and Total Dissolved Solids, and select ions; sulfate, chloride, calcium and magnesium, barium and iron.
