Pittsburgh Water Collaboratory & Three Rivers Waterkeeper Release Analysis of Water Quality in Pittsburgh's Tributaries

In 2021 the Pittsburgh Water Collaboratory and Three Rivers Waterkeeper received funding from the University of Pittsburgh's Year of Engagement Program to collect 100 samples from the tributaries that feed the Ohio, Monongahela, and Allegheny Rivers. 2023 Watershed Sampling Day

The Pittsburgh Water Collaboratory and Allegheny County Conservation District conducted a countywide Watershed Sampling Day on May 6th, 2023. Through this effort, nearly 40 volunteers were trained to collect water samples at tributaries of interest. These samples were collected, returned to Pitt, and processed at the University. All the data will be published and publicly available in early 2024.
