Through outreach meetings with community organizations, the Pittsburgh Water Collaboratory has identified knowledge gaps and best approaches for filling those gaps. The community consensus reports summarize and synthesize the outcomes of those meetings, as well as provide suggested paths forward.

The Collaboratory strives to provide the community with educational resources on water related topics. Learn more through briefings that have been made by members of the Collaboratory to aid in the understanding of water issues that affect the Greater Pittsburgh Region.

There have been a number of water management initiatives released throughout the Greater Pittsburgh Region in recent history. These publications show an ongoing attempt to continue the conversation surrounding water issues in the area.

Undergraduate students at the University of Pittsburgh have the opportunity to work with community partners to conduct research on water issues including water quality, quantity, and the impact of water on local communities. Learn more about undergraduate research.
