Research Interests
I am interested in using water infrastructure to reveal how metropolitan regions are structured and change. The development of infrastructural assets as part of regional policies raises fundamental questions about how these assets can be leveraged to promote urban, economic, and ecological sustainability. I am particularly interested about how the challenges of aging water infrastructure is influencing the scale at which regions are being conceived of, and planned.
