Research Interests
I am interested in how human activities impact algae communities in reservoir systems, specifically in the Allegheny Reservoir. My research goals are: 1) elucidate nutrient dynamics and sources to the Allegheny Reservoir using a combination of stable isotope tracers and remote sensing, and (2) disseminate study results to regional stakeholders, to efficiently reduce nutrient loads to the reservoir.
