Research Interests

My research focuses on fluvial geomorphology and the transport of metals in fluvial processes. I am currently working on a project in Yunnan, China, quantifying the contribution of legacy contamination to metal loads to receiving waters. I am also working on a project characterizing the downstream floodplain accretion rates from previous surface coal mining in Western Pennsylvania.
