The Water Collaboratory has been awarded the 2022 ARIS Impact Goals award. The Center for Advancing Research Impact in Society (ARIS) works with U.S. and international scientists and engagement practitioners to build capacity, advance scholarship, grow partnerships and provide resources to help them engage with and demonstrate the impact of research in their communities and society. The Collaboratory is honored to have been nominated by the University of Pittsburgh and their accomplishments acknowledged with this award. Collaboratory Director Dr. Emily Elliott says, "We are appreciative of the nomination, our letter writers, and the tremendous efforts of faculty, students, staff, and community partners that have made the Water Collaboratory a success.” Collaboratory Deputy Director Dr. Dan Bain says, "We are especially appreciative of all of our community partners who have engaged with us in advancing our understanding of water in the region".
