Research Interests

I am interested in understanding and improving the current knowledge of erosional processes in different landscapes such as hillslope, fluvial, and coastal. My current project is about permafrost thaw-induced hillslope erosion in northern and central Alaska.

I am using modern tools such as LIDAR and Unmanned Aerial Vehicle in addition to the field-based observations and measurements, geomorphic mapping, morphometric analysis, and radiometric dating techniques (e.g., Cosmogenic, OSL) for erosion process deciphering.
